First Day of Four Weeks Off Work

What a sweet day it has been. I know it’s Saturday and I’d be off work anyway, but knowing I can pretend it’s Saturday every day for a few weeks is great. The time change – spring forward tonight – lose an hour of your weekend! – is also something that may be easier to take with not having to jump up one hour earlier on Monday to rush to work. This is the third blog I’ve written tonight and I’m not sure I have anything left to write about. It’s been a fairly quiet day. I went to the grocery store this morning. I took a nap this afternoon. I cleaned out the refrigerator this evening. I’m reading a good book by Karen Slaughter. Her character, Will Trent, is very interesting. I will need to buy some more books during the next four weeks. I love to read. I got a sewing machine for Christmas that I hope to set up and begin to use. There are many things I want to do – seeing a movie among them – going to a concert . . . This day was for resting. I am very tired by the end of my work week. I need to find something fun to do every day for the next 29 days. It appears that spring may actually arrive. If the weather cooperates, I’ll do more fun things outside. Any suggestions?
